Hello one and all. Instead of posting a new command or trick for you to learn and share with your dog, I would like to put the leash in your hand, metaphorically speaking.
Please leave a comment or two on this post. I'd like for your comment to consist of the following elements:
1)Your Name and Your Dog's Name
2)The Most Common Obedience Difficulty You Have That I've Yet To Address
3)A Picture of Your Dog
For example, I would leave my name(Brandon) and my dog's name(Amos), the biggest obedience obstacle we run into is a the "STAY" command, and I'd leave a picture of him.
With enough feedback, I will make a post in response to the most popular problem people seem to have with their canine compadre.
Your input will be greatly appreciated!

I just wanted to say that your blog is very polished. You have your act together man! You should be charging serious bucks for this stuff. It proves that old axiom; that having a dog is almost like having a kid.
I haven't had a dog since 1979. That was the year I lost my Westie Terrier, Cory. She was my fifth dog since childhood, and I haven't had another dog since. I still see plenty of dogs. Our neighbors have an Australian Sheepherder, a dog that really needs forty acres in Merced...and something to chase. My brother-in-laws both have dogs. I figure I may have one more dog I can retire with.
Oh, your blog was easy to navigate and all that good techy stuff.
Dave is right! The blog is fantastic...possible career move?! I don't have a dog either, as I said before. When I was born my parents had cupcake, a golden retriver mixed with something else. She was so sweet and patient with me as I pulled her tail constantly! But I have many dogs in my life still too, just like Dave! my boyfriends family has three dogs and his aunt and uncle have two. So I get plenty of slobber all the time!
Maybe a problem with them most is that they all tend to jump up on anyone all the time. Any good advice with that?
Your site is easy to navigate and very entertaining...I would strongly suggest keeping up with it after class is over!
I don't have a dog but I really want a yorkie!
I am Danielle and I have two Dachshunds. Their names are...ready for it?...Luke and Leia. They came from a galaxy far far away...at the humane society.
My dogs do little excitement piddles...which have gotten better but we've learned to deal with it. The worst problem is that they bark at EVERYTHING. We've not had a lot of luck training them because they're 4 already.
and it's not letting me post a picture, but they're really cute.
My dogs are awesome. I have a mutt, he's a German Shepard-Lab-Rot mix. So he's huge, and his name is Nip. Then I have Ollie, my boxer. He's full of muscle. With Nip, I can't get him to lay down at bed time, or to go on his pillow either. Ollie is the one that loves attention, and we have a hard time getting him to not jump on people and lick their faces, He's so friendly. Otherwise they both listen pretty well. It's great.
This is Zoe, but I don't have a dog, I have a cat. Can cats learn tricks? If so, I would really appreciate a cat training post on your blog! Mine doesn't do anything I say...just pounces at me from behind corners.
Anyway, I love your blog! All of your advice is super helpful and I love that you've made your own videos for extra help. When I was a kid we had this huge dog and couldn't get him to do anything. We bought training books and everything but we could never get him to listen to us...this website would have been so helpful back then! Your blog is really easy to navigate through and I quickly found what participation you were looking for. I've commented on some other posts as well as voted in your polls.
Good work!!
p.s. My only suggestion would be for a cat training post.
I'm Danielle and I like to say I have a dog because I love it to death and take care of it when I'm home, but technically it's my sister's dog. It's a shih tzu/chihuahua mix, but I think it looks like a maltese for some reason. Her name is MOCHI...so "kawaii"! Like I said, I freakin' love her, but when it comes to strangers and other dogs, you can forget about it. She doesn't listen when we tell her "NO!", and she'll keep barking her little head off. I just want her to get over her little-man syndrome, you know? Hopefully this picture shows up. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=94509&albumID=2051303&imageID=16425026
